CINCINNATI, OH.  Oct. 18/ -- 2X World magic award winning escape artist Michael Griffin is summoning up the spirit of Houdini for a one night only presentation of Houdini The Code Friday Oct.26 at Grove Banquet Hall, 9150 winton rd Cincinnati, OH.  Griffin who is considered by his peers and industry insiders promises that what you see is what you get unlike Chris Angel who relies on clever editing, paid stooges and camera tricks, this will be absolutely a naked performance and making its stage debut will be the Challenge to Death Escape from an actual Compression Chamber as recorded in the Vietnam War era.


No magician or Escape Artist since Houdini has thrown down the challenge gauntlet to the world like Griffin who offers a $100,000.00 reward to anyone who can keep him prisoner (  So far he has beaten death almost literally by escaping from a solid steel airtight burial casket, heavy wooden packing crates, cement blocks under the ocean and even a challenge from the US Postal Service by getting out of their official locked mail bag leaving everything intact.

Griffin will be at Springfield Township’s first of four Play With Your Dinner events at The Grove Banquet Hall at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct, 26. Admission of $32 per person includes dinner, non-alcoholic beverages and the show. Tables of up to 10 can be reserved. Springfield Township resident and acclaimed jazz soloist Dan Jackson will play the saxophone during dinner. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening. Register online to reserve your seat!

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be a catered buffet which includes: Italian chicken marinated in olive oil, garlic, basil, sea salt, pepper and oregano; Tuscan pasta with sundried tomatoes; steamed green beans, salad, rolls and gourmet cupcakes with assorted fillings for dessert. A vegetarian dinner option may be selected through the online registration process.

The show will begin after dinner and is about two hours long. This event is only open to adults over the age of 21.
